Scan to Connect and Import Images

After displaying the connection QR code on the camera, you can scan it with OI.Share to establish a connection. The app will save the connected cameras, and the official page states that up to 10 cameras can be saved. Once connected, you can browse images on the camera and import them to your phone, and you can also select the import size. Whether the app and functions are compatible depends on the specific camera and phone; if menu differences occur, refer to the camera's manual and the current app instructions.〔G-OISH-01, G-OISH-02〕

Choosing the Remote Shooting Method Suitable for Your Scenario

The OI.Share official page lists two remote shooting methods: Live View mode allows you to view the live image on your phone, adjust camera settings, and shoot; Wireless Shutter mode allows you to set up the shot on the camera first and then trigger the shutter from your phone. Available options vary by model. Before starting shooting, confirm the connection methods and remote control options supported by your camera.〔G-OISH-02〕

Understanding Camera Shooting Modes Separately from Mobile App Functions

Live Composite and Starry Sky AF are camera shooting/focusing functions described in the OM-1 Mark II manual. Live Composite combines multiple shots into a single photo while keeping the background exposure unchanged; the manufacturer recommends stabilizing the camera on a tripod. The manual also explains that Starry Sky AF can be used for night sky photography and can also be used in Live Composite. The above camera function descriptions do not mean that OI.Share can set these modes from the phone; remote control capabilities should follow the specific camera manual and compatibility notes.〔G-OISH-03, G-OISH-04〕
