Distinguish Between the Two Mobile Apps

Imaging Edge Mobile and the Creators’ App are different applications; Sony’s current support list includes ILCE-7M4 Ver.2.00+ under the Creators’ App models. Do not consider the installation status of the old app as the Creators’ App being already paired. [G-A7-02]

Migrate from the Old App and Re-pair

Sony’s ILCE-7M4 pairing support guide records the camera menu and Bluetooth function setup steps. Sony support articles (updated 2026-07-31) explain that when migrating from Imaging Edge Mobile, first update the old app to Ver.7.7.2 or later; iPhone / iPad users should restart the device after updating the camera system software, then follow the camera and Creators’ App prompts to pair.
